Shades Valley High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, teachers, students, administrators and support staff.
We dedicate and commit ourselves to the successful education of our students and staff by providing them with educational resources and recreational needs. Through fundraisers and monetary contributions, we are able to support educational programs and provide relevant resources for our families and community. We also provide communication between our administration, teachers, parents and students. We strive to build a bridge to provide additional resources and to create partnerships for years to come.
Each day our teachers and staff are engaging our students in educational opportunities to prepare them to be “Ready for College, Ready for Career, and Ready for Life.” We are so blessed to serve students in the City of Irondale and the Birmingham metro area. Our campus offers numerous programs to meet the needs of all students. From our general High School, to The Jefferson County Academies, to Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School, and Shades Valley Technical Academy, there is something here for everyone!
